This site is a place for me to share my story of trying to find a way of living with the climate crisis.

Following a shift in consciousness in 2017 I became aware how serious the situation is for all human and other-than-human life, I started to experience the world differently.

My essay Love, Collapse & the Climate Crisis, was written between 2021 and 2022 and is offered on this site for those who may find it useful.

The hope is to feel less alone with the bleakness of this moment, and in that acknowledging the bleakness, to become more able to move with it, towards taking more meaningful action. Whatever form that takes.

The essay is essentially my story over several years told through a sequence of dreams. I choose to understand this period in terms of Jungian Individuation, because this is what makes sense to me. Your way will be different, but should you wish to make contact and discuss anything this site raises for you, please do.

Briefly, my background is as a psychotherapist, living in London, UK. I have spent decades working with people to  find a calmer, safer, more connected way of being.

Over the years I have specialised in addictions, trauma, ecotherapy, and then complex trauma along the way.

I am currently interested in the connection between Neurodiversity, Queerness, and Freud's concept of the death Drive, and how this informs an idea of "the future", or "no future".

Like most people, I would say, especially in Western thinking, I struggle to know I am Nature, and it is me. I work on myself and with others to try and connect more of the time. In this respect I take a Transpersonal approach.
